We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Senior Manager, Client Acquisition & Lead Generation to drive lead generation for Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital. In this role, you will develop, implement, and optimize lead generation strategies that drive new client acquisition and engagement, with a focus on affluent individuals, families and foundations seeking investment management solutions.
You will be responsible for creating targeted marketing campaigns, utilizing data-driven insights, and deploying innovative tactics to identify, nurture, and convert potential affluent clients. You will also lead the development and execution of sponsorships, partnerships, and client events, aligning these initiatives with our marketing objectives to expand reach, build relationships, and generate leads. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the affluent investment management space, and the ability to leverage digital, content, and traditional marketing channels to drive lead generation and business growth.

What You Will Do
1. Lead Generation Strategy & Campaigns
- Develop and execute comprehensive lead generation strategies that attract and convert affluent individuals through digital, social, and traditional marketing channels
- Design and launch highly targeted marketing campaigns that speak to the unique financial needs and aspirations of affluent individuals, emphasizing our value proposition and differentiators
- Implement lead nurturing programs to guide prospects through the sales funnel and maximize conversion rates
2. Sponsorship & Partnership Development
- Develop and execute a robust sponsorship and partnership strategy to extend our brand's reach, foster relationships with key industry players, and generate qualified leads
- Identify and pursue strategic sponsorship opportunities at industry events, conferences, seminars, and collaborate with complementary organizations to drive lead generation
3. Client Event Strategy & Execution
- Lead the development and execution of client-focused events such as seminars, webinars, exclusive gatherings, and investment strategy workshops aimed at engaging affluent prospects
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of these events, optimizing opportunities for lead conversion and fostering relationships with potential clients
4. Content & Digital Marketing
- Oversee the creation of compelling, client-focused content (e.g., blogs, whitepapers, case studies) that resonates with potential clients and supports lead generation efforts
- Drive digital marketing initiatives (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media) to amplify brand presence, drive traffic, and generate qualified leads for the advisory team
- Collaborate with content teams to optimize all materials for maximum lead engagement and conversion
5. Analytics, Reporting & Collaboration
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, sponsorships, partnerships, client events, and overall lead generation tactics, providing actionable insights to optimize future initiatives
- Work closely with financial advisors and relationship managers to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales goals, providing them with qualified leads and necessary marketing materials
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor strategies, and best practices in wealth management marketing to continuously enhance lead generation efforts
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on lead generation within financial services, wealth management, or related sectors
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful lead generation campaigns, specifically targeting affluent individuals
- Experience in developing and managing sponsorships, partnerships, and client events that drive lead generation and brand awareness
- Strong understanding of wealth management products, services, and client needs
- Experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM tools, and analytics software (Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize campaigns
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of the client acquisition lifecycle
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including advisors, client service teams and senior leadership
