Summary
The Staff Psychiatrist (per diem) is a hybrid role requiring both on site and remote work. This position requires 2 weeks per quarter, for a minimum of 8 weeks annually of on-site work performed on any of SCADDS multiple Connecticut campus locations. The Staff Psychiatrist will provide Chief Medical Officer Remote coverage for responsibilities requiring the services of a Medical Doctor as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of CT
- Active Drug Enforcement Act (DEA) number, allowing prescription of controlled substances in the State of Connecticut
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience practicing as a psychiatric practitioner in a clinical setting preferred
- Experienced in addiction and co-occurring disorders
