Overview
JOB SUMMARY: Implements new standardization initiatives and completes FSQR improvement projects. Coordinates GSF LPNA Quality, Food Safety and regulatory compliance activities to meet objectives for quality, food safety, regulatory compliances, and customer satisfaction at the Divisional level. Leads all customer, BRC, regulatory and regulatory audits (internal, customer, 3rd party) supporting plant's short and long-range goals for business growth.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Coordinates FSQR programs standardization initiatives and improvement projects for all LPNA facilities. (25%) Conducts food safety, customer, regulatory and quality audits, including sanitation audits at the Liquid Products NA facilities to ensure compliance with all regulatory, customer, and company policies requirements. Participates in pre-operational inspections and communicates best practices and updated information on sanitation programs, chemicals to ensure effectiveness of the sanitation program. (20%) Supports the implementation of new or updated Divisional and Corporate level Food Safety and Quality policies and programs in LPNA facilities. Updates existing Food Safety & Quality policies, procedures and documentation to keep up with changing customer or regulatory requirements and communicates requirements to manufacturing facilities. Collaborates with all LPNA facilities to ensure all LPNA facilities are compliant and meet all regulatory requirements and corporate policies requirements. (15%) Collaborates with Plant Food Safety and Quality Systems Director and departmental Managers to continually improve existing Food Safety & Quality programs. (10%) Provides support for troubleshooting Food Safety and Quality related incidents and for identifying root causes and corrective actions. (10%) Serves as Technical Liason (Quality and Food Safety expert) to Plant Quality Systems, Operations, and Product Development (10%) Provides guidance and direction to the manufacturing facility(s) on how to improve Quality Plans focused on defects prevention. (5%) Participates in management and technical team meetings to present food safety and quality -related information and to enhance company-wide communication and teamwork. (5%) Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience equivalent to:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in food science, food microbiology, biology or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
Master's degree in food science and/or food microbiology preferred.
Experience:
10 years of relevant food safety & quality programs management work experience in an FDA regulated environment. Proven knowledge and experience in leading and guiding BRCGS, Customer and Regulatory audits.

The anticipated salary range for this position ranges from $90 - 115K. The ultimately salary will depend on a number of related factors, including the selected candidates education, skills and experience.
