Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Technical GRC Engineer with over 6 years of experience to lead governance workflows and improve cybersecurity risk posture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), and cyber risk management, with the ability to enhance security programs and address operational governance challenges. This hybrid role requires strong technical, program management, and communication skills to operationalize DLP initiatives effectively.
Key Skills:
  • Must-Have Skills:
    • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
    • Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
    • Cyber Risk or IT Audit expertise
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, GLBA, CCPA)
    • Familiarity with security controls frameworks (e.g., NIST)
    • Program Management and Communication Skills
Responsibilities:
  • Lead governance activities for DLP Governance Routines, including:
    • Issue Management
    • Operational Governance
    • Exception Management
    • Policy Subject Matter Expertise (SME)
  • Oversee, aggregate, and report risks based on inputs such as:
    • Policy Violations and Policy Exceptions
    • Stakeholder-raised concerns
    • Operational Exception Management
  • Enhance cybersecurity risk posture and reduce data loss through:
    • Application of risk management principles
    • Implementation of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Operationalize DLP programs by:
    • Managing tools, techniques, and processes
    • Improving cyber defense methodologies
    • Developing and executing program strategies
Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in cybersecurity risk management and DLP operations.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (GDPR, GLBA, CCPA) and security frameworks (NIST).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and operationalize governance workflows.
  • Strong program management and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
