We are looking for an FP&A Manager to develop and oversee financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. As our FP&A Manager, you'll play a key role in building models to predict growth and profitability, using data to generate actionable insights.

This is a hybrid position based in Scottsdale, AZ. This role combines the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of meaningful in-person collaboration. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Scottsdale area.

What you'll do
- Lead the process of driving business performance management, financial and operational planning, and forecasting
- Partner with leadership to define, operationalize and execute financial and KPI goals aligned with business strategies
- Lead the annual financial planning and multi-year strategic planning processes
- Be a thought partner to all business leaders and help resolve competing business priorities
- Lead the monthly forecast and variance process and operational reviews; partner with leadership to deliver on objectives and optimize business performance
- Communicate business objectives and performance to key stakeholders including employees, investors, and the Board of Directors
- Build and maintain the long-term unit based business model for a high-growth SaaS business
- Work with HR to manage resource and expense planning across our business, collect and organize departmental inputs, and use Planful to generate ongoing resource plans and forecasts that reconcile with our recruiting processes
- Take part in business planning, building, and managing models to predict growth, recurring revenue, and profitability
- Manage and maintain a 3-statement financial forecast and ongoing ARR forecast, including cash and covenant projections
- Own, refine, and implement financial systems and tools to track the company's KPIs and performance and provide reporting to enhance operational insights
- Create KPI dashboards and reports to provide analytics and transparency across the organization
- Interpret the business, and suggest and revise ongoing metrics that support the business value model
- Support the finance department with ongoing analysis and forecasting for individual products and the overall company
- Prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates, all-hands presentations, and other ad hoc reporting
What you'll bring
- Experience in FP&A and accounting in a private-equity backed SaaS environment or Investment Bank focused on SaaS or technology
- Proven experience building long-term financial models and ability to create & maintain a three-statement financial model
- Proficient financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience in financial reporting and financial statement review and analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and experience utilizing BI tools
- Ability to provide context for data for non-finance people
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects and a willingness to learn
- Ability to thrive in environments where change is constant, fast-paced, and often under deadlines
- Ability to work with large data sets and automate conversion into usable business information
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into consolidated, compelling messages
Bonus Points
- Experience with Planful and NetSuite, or similar planning and financial reporting tools
- Experience in using Snowflake data warehouse
- Experience using Power Query and PowerPivot in Excel and Tableau
- Experience in writing SQL Queries and related analysis
- Experience using HRIS (preferably BambooHR)
