GARUD is in search of a motivated, self-driven Program Manager to join our team supporting a critical Department of Commerce (DOC) client! The ideal candidate must have experience working with DOC and on programs that involve strategic and cradle-to-grave acquisition tasks and associated personnel.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Serves as the single individual responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contract staff & schedules, maintaining regular contact with Government's Project Officer and/or Contracting Officer's Representative.
- Provides required team leadership and guidance and overall program management vision in support of the day-to-day operations.
- Responsible for P/L associated with overall contract and associated task orders.
- Provides management oversight for personnel providing the following services: Program Management; Acquisition; Budget and Financial Management. Supervises all project personnel and communicates policies, procedures, and goals.
- Provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for executing all contractual requirements. Ensures all contractual deliverables are completed on-time and with the highest quality.
- Responsible for the overall project plan, project performance, and client satisfaction on multiple project tasks and has multiple task leaders as direct reports.
- Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules; develops solutions to program problems.
- Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
- Lead the identification, selection and implementation of tool sets to support Program Management functions.
- Support all business development actions associated with both organic and new growth opportunities.
Required Educations, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Education: Bachelors' Degree from accredited university.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years' of direct PM experience w/ 5 years supporting a NOAA program
- Clearance: DHS Suitability
- MUST be able to report to client site 1-2 days per pay period in the Washington D.C. metro area
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Desired)
- PMP Certified
- Familiarization with acquisition related programs and support
