We are a dynamic and rapidly growing RTL (Residential Transitional Lending) firm dedicated to providing innovative lending solutions to residential property developers. Our goal is to create sustainable financial partnerships that help our clients meet their financing needs while ensuring a robust and profitable growth trajectory for our firm. We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead our Capital Markets team.
Position Summary
The Head of Capital Markets will be responsible for overseeing and driving the firm's capital markets activities so as to maximize company originations, revenues, and earnings within agreed upon credit parameters. This includes managing relationships with institutional investors, securing funding sources in partnership with parent company (Pretium Partners), and leading the firm's strategy and execution of loan sales, warehouse facility management, loan structuring to align capital market exits, and managing securitizations. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious leader with deep industry knowledge, a track record of managing capital market deals and teams, and a strategic mindset to drive growth and profitability. In addition, the candidate will have experience in product development in order to partner with credit and risk to execute product expansion opportunities.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid position which requires in office reporting to Anchor's Thousand Oaks office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Remote work is optional Monday and Friday. Hours are 8am-5pm.
Compensation
The base pay for this position is $200,000-$300,000, plus performance-based bonus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Capital Market Operations:
- Oversee all financing activity including loan sales, warehouse facilities and securitizations.
- Manage the firm's liquidity position with daily balancing of cash position, warehouse facilities, and planned loan sales, while maximizing firm's EBITDA.
- Ensure the firm has the most effective capital market sources including credit box, pricing and leverage
- Drive the firm's securitization strategy and execution, including the structuring, pricing, and execution of securitized products.
- Own firm's loan pricing framework in order to align market competition, risk-weighting, capital markets demand and firm profitability.
- Monitor and mitigate market risks related to interest rates, liquidity, credit, and regulatory changes, ensuring alignment with the firm's risk tolerance.
- Review MLPAs and other investor agreements to opine on new deals and perform tracking of
- concentration & eligibility limits related to the agreements.
- Oversee the issuance and management of debt, equity, and structured products to meet funding needs.
Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead and manage the Capital Markets team, setting strategic priorities and ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.
- Develop and implement capital markets strategies to optimize the firm's growth/scale, profitability, and stability.
- Cultivate relationships with investors, banks, institutional capital partners, and rating agencies to support the firm's capital raising initiatives.
- Work closely with senior executives, including the CFO and CEO, to drive capital strategies that align with business goals.
- Provide regular reports on the performance of capital markets activities and funding strategies to the executive team and board.
- Drive the development of financial models and forecasting related to capital markets and lending activities.
- Support the development and launch of innovative financial products and solutions tailored to property developers, ensuring alignment with client needs and capital markets liquidity.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, or structured finance, preferably within the lending or financial services sector.
- Proven experience in managing complex transactions, investor relations, and partnerships in the capital markets space.
- Extensive network within the capital markets, including institutional investors, and banks.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, driving product innovation, and achieving business growth targets.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, risk analysis, and portfolio management.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA, CFA, or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
