Job Summary
The Lead Discovery group at C4T is looking for an experienced, creative, collaborative and highly motivated individual to build and lead our DNA encoded library (DEL) screening platform. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing novel target-specific DEL screens in the context of targeted protein degradation, including molecular glues and bi-functional degraders, as well as the identification and validation of hits using a combination of internal and external resources. Job Summary

Your Role
- Design and develop rigorous and robust target-specific screening and validation protocols for both binary and ternary interactions, including molecular glues and bi-functional molecules
- Collaborate with the internal Chemical Sciences group and external Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to manage the design and production of DEL libraries
- Identify and prioritize screening hits
- Collaborate closely with members of the Protein Sciences, Cell Pharmacology, Medical Chemistry and Cheminformatics groups at C4T
Your Background
Required:
- A Ph.D. or equivalent in biochemistry, chemical biology or related fields
- Extensive experience encompassing all aspects of DEL screening workflows, ideally having experience with molecular glue protocols
- Hands-on experience and proven expertise in designing, developing, and implementing high-throughput screening methodologies
- Successful identification of starting ligands from DEL screens for multiple independent projects
- Proven history of success leading in a matrixed environment, leveraging excellent time management, communication (at all levels and across functions), and organizational skills to deliver high quality results
- A desire to work in a fast-paced environment on challenging projects with a creative scientific spirit and a passion for discovering transformative therapeutics
Preferred:
- Experience working with chemical inducers of proximity (CIPs)
