Job Description Summary
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant area and show potential for excellence in the administration and/or management of academic or research programs.

Organization's Summary Statement:
Lead all aspects of the business development for the Center for Advanced Transportation Technology (CATT) Laboratory.
Assist in proposal development/writing.
Manage external coordination and communication with CATT's government and industry stakeholders.
Monitor existing contracts, proactively work with clients on renewals/modifications.
Track, monitor, and analyze performance on deliverables related to existing contracts to ensure efficient, compliant operation
Identify/develop new clientele including but not limited to cold calling.
Lead contract negotiations/discussions with new clientele.
Serve as project manager on special projects and initiatives to enhance CATT's effectiveness in business development
Develop and enhance product demonstrations for new government and industrial clients
Oversee development of external communication and training materials

Physical Demands:
Performs sedentary work.
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended time and operate standard office equipment and keyboards
Visual ability to read data on reports and computer screens and to perform activities such as preparing data and figures and extensive reading.
At events there is some need to set up and take down light materials such as literature, signs, etc
Travel on and off campus for events and meetings and transport supplies and materials.
Occasional national and international travel and evening and weekend work is required.

Preferences:
Experience with RITIS and/or any of the CATT Lab data analytics tools
Experience with federal contracts
