Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maps Automation: Develop, implement, and optimize generative AI models to automate map creation, enhance spatial data accuracy, and enrich the map's visual and contextual quality in real time using multi-model data and crowdsourced input.
User-Centric AI Features: Design and deploy AI-powered features that improve exploration, discovery, navigation, deliver personalized recommendations, and support accessibility for diverse users.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with applied scientists, data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate generative AI capabilities seamlessly into Apple Maps products and services.
Scalability & Optimization: Create scalable AI solutions to handle global map data, ensuring reliability and consistency across various geographies and cultures.
Responsible AI: Advocate for and implement ethical AI practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment to Apple's privacy principles in all generative AI applications.
AI-Assisted Business Tools: Innovate tools for business owners to manage and optimize their presence on Apple Maps using AI insights and generative solutions.
