This role involves leading integration projects, optimizing application performance, and providing guidance on upgrades and patches.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust solutions using Pega 8.x, focusing on business functionality and user-centric applications.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet project requirements and align with organizational goals.
- Lead integration efforts to connect Pega applications with external systems.
- Utilize REST and SOAP APIs to enable seamless communication and data exchange.
- Optimize application performance through effective design and tuning techniques.
- Ensure scalability and reliability of Pega implementations for long-term use.
- Provide expert guidance on Pega upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal service disruptions.
- Execute upgrades with thorough testing and contingency planning.
- Conduct peer reviews and code audits to maintain adherence to Pega development standards.
- Promote best practices and ensure alignment with the latest technical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-10 years of overall experience, including 4-6 years of hands-on Pega development.
- Pega Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Pega 8.x, including design, development, and deployment.
- Integration: Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
- Optimization: Proficiency in performance tuning and scalability of Pega applications.
- Maintenance: Experience managing Pega upgrades and applying patches.
