Job Summary and Qualifications

  • You will be responsible for administration and oversight of all activities concerning the achievement of continuous regulatory and accreditation readiness, quality excellence, and corporate safety compliance for the organization
  • You will provide oversight for matters including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), The Joint Commission (TJC), and other external agencies for regulatory compliance
  • You will work closely with the quality and safety department, facility leadership, and department leaders across the organization to support facilitation, development, and implementation of systems to ensure compliance with external accrediting and regulatory bodies, while driving process improvement and safety across the facility
  • You will direct strategic and operational implementation of regulatory requirements, guidelines, and standards of federal, state, and local licensing agencies, accrediting and certifying organizations, along with safety policies and procedures and professional standards of the organization
  • You will manage post-survey activities and work with key stakeholders to identify and address areas of non-compliance and to develop, submit, and implement plans of correction
What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Current license as a registered nurse or health professional in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certification in Healthcare Quality Management (CHQM) within 12 months of hire date
  • 3+ years of technical and managerial experience in accreditation required
