Hettrick, Cyr & Associates, Inc. (HC&A), a member of the Insurance Program Managers Group, is an occupational safety service provider based in Glastonbury, Connecticut. We specialize in serving the construction industry and are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated safety professional to join our superior staff as a Construction Safety Specialist.

About the Role

As a Construction Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering effective safety and risk control services to our valued customer base. This role involves conducting construction safety audits, hazard evaluations, developing and conducting job-specific and OSHA-required training programs, conducting insurance risk control assessments, and performing accident investigations and root cause analyses. Occasional travel is required to service our national customer base.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A bachelor's degree in safety management or a related field
  • Ten or more years of work experience in the construction safety profession
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and the general workforce
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • OSHA 500 - Trainer Course in Construction Safety Standards (a plus, but not required)

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a very competitive salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $90,000 to $115,000. Hettrick, Cyr & Associates, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
