Overview
Verathon is looking for a Commissions Analyst II to become the newest member of our Finance/Accounting Team located in Bothell, WA.
The Commissions Analyst II is responsible for ensuring sales representative commissions and bonuses are accurately calculated based on the plan documents. They will provide support within the team and throughout the organization to enhance the long-term profitability and growth of the company. This position requires an innovative individual with the willingness to drive change, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of associates and in cross functional teams and international cultures.
Responsibilities
Provide support to accurately calculate and analyze sales representative commissions worldwide using Xactly Incent software
Prepare intermediate payment files for payroll processing
Review sales compensation plan documents annually to perform accurate calculations and understand plans
Collect and analyze standard report data to track compensation performance and metrics
Generate intermediate ad hoc reports for sales management and provide support as needed to address sales questions
Perform various intermediate ad hoc projects and analysis as needed
Support the Commissions appeal process, assuring proper approvals and documentation for any adjustments to individual sales representative commissions
Support training regarding sales representative commissions
Prepare commissions journal entries
Reconcile commissions accounts monthly utilizing Blackline software
Aid and support documentation for both internal and external auditors
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies and procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
2+ years of directly related commissions analysis with proven record of increased responsibility
Ability to perform intermediate activities with monitored end results
Experience working in accounting and finance in a manufacturing environment preferred
Strong attention to detail required
Experience applying continuous improvement concepts preferred
Proven ability to identify process improvements
Creative, analytical mindset with can-do attitude
Ability to work cross functionally
Self-starter with ability to positively support others
Comfortable with having to adjust to changes in work environment, work under pressure with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
Adept at prioritizing work and coordinating tasks simultaneously
Ability to prepare and present data in a simple, understandable manner using effective oral and written communication
Preferred candidate will demonstrate strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders
Ability to integrate with other departments and locations
Ability to develop strong partnership/teambuilding relationships with all functional areas
Advanced proficiency in Excel preferred
Experience with Epicor ERP, Xactly Incent (or other sales commissions software), DocuSign, and BlackLine preferred

- Salary range - $70,400 - $96,800 (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).
- Full-time employees who are not on a commission plan are eligible for Verathon's annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
