Stamford Health is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our 24/7 coverage in-house surgical team! This is an immediate need for a Physician Assistant to work in the urology subspecialty at Stamford Hospital. This is a full-time position requiring clinical work and OR First Assist. The PA will assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of medical and surgical conditions which range from chronic diseases, acute illnesses, and health care maintenance. Under the direction of or in consultation with a physician, the PA will provide a broad spectrum of general patient care. Patient population is primarily Urology with an occasional Oral and Maxillofacial and ENT patient.
Schedule: Fulltime - 37.5 hours/week; 3, 12.5 hour-shifts per week - day/night/weekend rotation - shifts rotate between 6a-6:30p and 6p-6:30a; no on call required

Responsibilities
- B.A./B.S. and completion of 2 years accredited P.A. training program.
- Current NCCPA certification required.
- BLS required.
