Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop & manage transportation and infrastructure improvement product line(s) for Titan. (Roads, Railways, Waterways and Soil Reinforcement)
  • Reinforce, develop and introduce current and potential soil stabilization or base reinforcement product lines. Including but not limited to Titan Earth Grids, Geogrid Composites, Geotextiles, Geocell, Aramid Fibers, etc.
  • Recruit, hire & train new & existing team members as needed.
  • Work closely with and support Titan sales team in R&R management sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams to help promote & specify identified systems and products.
  • Work closely with the executive and regional teams to execute direction, planning, and strategies for increased market penetration of Soil Stabilization and Reinforcement products.
  • Develop additional offerings that complement under the general category of Roads & Railway.
  • Attend trade shows when required.
  • Complete "Titan Talks" (product/industry presentations) on an ongoing basis; target of 40 per year.
  • Uncover new clients and register with a credit account; target of 12 per year.
  • Adoption and consistent use of (HubSpot) CRM and (NetSuite) ERP system.
  • Work with colleagues to develop business plans and introduction of solutions to emerging markets when necessary.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Working towards a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the Roads and Railway sector, preferably in geosynthetics, geotextiles, or related products.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing product lines, including launching new products and expanding existing portfolios.
  • Strong team building, mentoring, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team of diverse skill sets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams to support opportunities, presentations, and specifications.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify product gaps or market needs and develop solutions or new offerings.
  • Familiarity with CAD software or other design tools used in infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and tools for collaboration (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Teams).
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations governing roads, railways, and environmental management in Canada and the US.

Other Information
  • Hours of work are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of work and travel outside these standard hours when needed.
  • Please note that this position involves approximately 50% travel.
  • This position is open to all applicants located near our Canadian offices, however preference will be given to candidates near our Alberta offices.
