The Lead FTM (Fleet Technical Manager) will be based out of our Corporate Offices in Richmond Heights, Ohio
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations to various support groups of the control center when requested.
- Monitor coordination of maintenance activities for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance as well as follow-up procedures for delays and cancellations.
- Drive continuous improvement in aircraft availability, dispatch reliability, operating costs, and owner satisfaction with the Flexjet TWG process.
- Work in cross-functional environment to develop immediate and cost-effective solutions to operational problems.
- Monitors coordinators in troubleshooting complex aircraft maintenance issues
- Monitor the inspection program and service bulletins issued by OEM's.
- Has proficient knowledge of the active participation in the SMS.
- Consistently improves the Dispatch Availability of their fleet.
- Responsible for overseeing the training of the engine and Fleet managers.
- Lead Fleet Technical Manager will be the central point of communications within the Fleet Technical Working Group and the Support Committee (SC).
- The Lead Fleet Technical Manager will assign projects that come into the (FTWG) and be the final decision if a project is in dispute.
- The Lead Fleet Technical Manager will assume the role of a Fleet Technical Manager in their absence or delegate the responsibility to another Fleet Technical Manager as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:
- Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs.
- Ability to effectively manage the team members and TWG process.
- Successful candidate will be highly motivated individual and a self-starter who works effectively under pressure and within time constraints.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required.
- Bachelor's degree in related field is desired; and/or 12 years of experience in an aviation environment.
- Must have working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Proficient in FAA 135 GMM and OEM manufactures inspection programs.
- Must be proficient in multiple specific fleet and engine types with Factory OEM training.
- Has working relationship with other Flexjet departments.
