Position Summary
Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, a national leader in clinical care, education, and research, along with the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center (IUSCCC), is announcing the search for applications for a tenure track faculty to join and expand its team. The candidate should have an outstanding record of accomplishment in clinical care, teaching, and whose research emphasizes malignant disorders of hematopoiesis, immune deficiency states, or disorders of hemostasis. The physician-scientist will be expected to engage in active collaborative research, build clinical and/or translational research in the division, and obtain/maintain independent extramural funding. In addition, the candidate will participate in Global Hematology/Oncology research initiatives with our partners in Eldoret, Kenya, or other areas aligned with global Hematology/Oncology research. The candidate will be in Africa for 2-3 months per year.

Basic Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent as well as research service and teaching accomplishments consistent with a tenured faculty appointment. The ideal candidate will have a history of collaborative, impactful research and extramural funding.
