About the role

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking individual to join our Security Program & Access Management (SP&AM) team. This position will help safeguard the organization's information by implementing controls, developing standards, and designing solutions to ensure COUNTRY can successfully identify, authenticate, and authorize access to critical data and applications.

In this role, your skills, experience, and knowledge of Identity and Access Management technologies and concepts will help the organization balance regulatory and auditing compliance requirements with end user experience through application on-boarding, IAM workflow development, process improvements, and supporting highly available application environments.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and can be based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL, Alpharetta, GA, or Minneapolis, MN.

How does this role make an impact?

  • Design, build, implement, and support COUNTRY's IT solutions.
  • Ensure IT solutions meet requirements for security, availability, capacity, resiliency, and performance in a way that is efficient and supportable, reducing overall support costs.
  • Understand industry leading solutions and trends for assigned technologies and applying those as appropriate for COUNTRY.
  • Understand business needs and partnering with appropriate IT counterparts to recommend technology solutions.
  • Establish and maintain an IT multi-year strategy with a focus on continuous improvement. Create and maintain solutions architecture artifacts and other strategy and system documentation.


Do you have what we're looking for?

  • Strong aptitude and desire to learn new skills, think outside-the-box, and independently design and develop own deliverables while still being a team player (required).
  • Experience with and understanding of JSON (required).
  • Experience analyzing data and making recommendations based on identified observations and opportunities (required).
  • Experience in migrating on-prem applications to cloud (preferred).
  • Working knowledge in infrastructure technologies such as Linux, Windows, Active Directory, and LDAP (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of database connections and SQL queries (preferred).
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical information to a variety of audiences while maintaining a secure mindset (required).
  • Confidence and experience to work with business partners to understand needs, identify solutions, then recommend and drive process improvements related to the area's overall security posture (required).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and engagements simultaneously (required).
  • Experience in Identity and Access Management technologies to manage and govern provisioning, access requests, access certifications, role creation, and separation of duties (preferred).
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as insurance and financial services (preferred).
  • Knowledge of API application integrations and development, including Postman experience (preferred).
  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.


Base Pay Range:
$76,800-$105,600

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay:

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
