This is a hybrid role and must be located within commutable distance of the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area, with approximately 2-3 days on site with clients and at Slalom's Dallas office.

Slalom is looking for an experienced consulting leader (open to Principal Consultant OR Senior Principal Consultant level) to drive the growth and delivery of Cybersecurity opportunities local to our Dallas office. What You'll Do
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, security needs, and goals, and position the firm's services to address them effectively.
  • Build and maintain a security & risk management sales pipeline, leveraging industry events, networking opportunities, and strategic partnerships to meet revenue targets.
  • Lead the successful delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client objectives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to scope projects, allocate resources, and manage budgets.
  • Provide hands-on leadership for complex engagements, particularly in areas such as GRC, Cloud Security, IAM, or Cyber Resilience (e.g. Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, SRE, Incident Response and Vulnerability Management).
  • Ensure clients receive actionable insights and measurable outcomes from consulting engagements.
  • Act as security Subject Matter Expert/Advisor for key clients.
  • Drive client satisfaction by resolving issues, providing regular updates, and ensuring open communication throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development of the cybersecurity practice by mentoring junior team members, sharing industry knowledge, and helping refine service offerings.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in cybersecurity to advise clients and shape service strategies.

What You'll Bring
  • Strong understanding of key cybersecurity domains, including GRC, Cloud Security, IAM, or Cyber Resilience (e.g. Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, SRE, Incident Response and Vulnerability Management).
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and common top security technologies.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa.
  • Proven track record of generating and closing cybersecurity consulting deals.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and proposal-writing skills.
  • Experience in building and managing a sales pipeline, with a focus on delivering measurable growth.
  • Experience leading complex cybersecurity projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong solutioning skills, including scoping, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Adept at managing client relationships and aligning services with business needs.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring junior consultants.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and operating within a matrixed organization
  • History of continuous learning and deep technical expertise within 2-3 domains within the Cybersecurity space
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, sales, or delivery roles, with a focus on client-facing engagements.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, PMP) are highly desirable.
