MANAGER OF SUPPLY CHAIN SYSTEMS & DEPLOYMENT

JOB SUMMARY:

Manager of Supply Chain Systems & Deployment manages the deployment and optimization of supply chain systems and processes while leading training programs to ensure successful adoption and usage. This role bridges technology, operations, and people, ensuring new systems and processes drive efficiency, compliance, and scalability. This role is responsible for managing trainers, coordinating deployment activities, and fostering continuous improvement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze existing supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Develop, document, and standardize processes to enhance consistency and operational performance.
  • Implement lean methodologies and best practices to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
  • Oversee the implementation of supply chain systems (e.g., ERP, TMS, WMS) to align with business needs.
  • Coordinate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of deployed systems.
  • Manage system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability before go-live.
  • Develop comprehensive training programs to support system and process deployment initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of trainers, ensuring they deliver effective and engaging training sessions.
  • Collaborate with trainers to create user guides, e-learning materials, and hands-on workshops tailored to various roles.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through feedback and performance assessments to identify gaps and adjust content as needed.
  • Plan and execute deployment projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to encourage system adoption and minimize disruption.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and buy-in during deployment initiatives.
  • Partner with supply chain, procurement, inventory, and logistics teams to understand system and process requirements.
  • Serve as the liaison between technical teams, operations, and end-users to align system capabilities with business goals.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and consultants for system customization and support.
  • Track and measure the success of deployed systems and processes using key performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead follow-up projects to refine systems and processes.
  • Leverage analytics and reporting tools to assess impact and ROI of deployments.
  • All other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in Automotive Manufacturing or related field. 2+ years' experience and demonstrated success as a knowledgeable supply chain manager in an Automotive Manufacturing, Assembly or Distribution facility

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Significant experience in logistics management, with a track record of overseeing transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP systems).
  • Experience managing training programs and leading cross-functional deployment initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder management.
  • Analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Change management expertise with a focus on user adoption and process compliance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and solving supply chain challenges.
