We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our team to assist with the daily management and continuous improvement of our supply chain. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

This position is onsite and not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Negotiate favorable contracts, terms, and pricing while ensuring supplier accountability and quality.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, emphasizing collaboration and transparency.
Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
Maximize inventory turns on purchased materials to meet production needs while optimizing cash flow.
Develop confidence with business partners and senior management, establishing a reputation for dependability and sound decision-making.
Manage and mentor a team of 5 professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred
Experience using procurement software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other relevant platforms. Knowledge of Epicor a big plus.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS:
Salary: $80k to $135k based on education and experience, with potential for performance-based bonuses.

Salary Description
