As a Technical Engineer, you will work as part of the Customer Operations department in close collaboration with senior Technical engineers, project managers and application specialists to install, configure, integrate and support complex medical imaging platforms developed by Sectra for hospitals and imaging clinics across Canada. You will develop a strong understanding of Hospital IT systems, communication and interoperability frameworks and standards that can be leveraged across the entire Health IT domain. You will also gain a deep understanding of how technologies support the patient care journey in the Canadian healthcare system. You will use your critical thinking skills, and sound engineering principles to design, deploy and support critical systems that lead to improve clinical outcomes.

Our salary range for this role falls between $85,100.00 and $102,700.00. The final salary offer will depend on several key factors, including the candidate's level of experience, their specific skill set, and the overall alignment with the job requirements. Other considerations may include the candidate's education, certifications, and any additional relevant qualifications. We aim to offer a competitive salary that reflects the value each individual brings to our team.

You'll have the opportunity to:
- Engage with hospital system administrators and end-users (virtually) to understand their daily operations and workflows.
- Perform the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, databases, and applications for Sectra's enterprise imaging solutions.
- Configure Cloud-based solutions (on Microsoft Azure) for specific Health IT systems.
- Integrate Sectra's products and other healthcare systems, including Artificial Intelligence algorithms, using custom APIs and standard-based interfaces.
- Troubleshoot issues while maintaining ongoing communication with customers.
- Handle patient data in full compliance with privacy legislations.
- Contribute to the design of enablement plans and configuration specifications and carry out installation processes to implement integrated hardware and software systems and products purchased by customers.
- Prototype and rigorously test proposed solutions for feasibility, reliability, and quality.
- Develop program and system specifications to meet customers' technical requirements and guide enablement, configuration, or coding of products and solutions.
- Provide essential technical information, requirements, and cost estimates to sales teams for proposals, quotes, and statements of work.
- Create and maintain documentation to offer customers a reliable technical resource for effective product operation and maintenance.
- Participate in the on After-Hours Support program
- Travel 10%- 15%

- Experience working with IT service desk or customer service

- Experience working with Windows, MS SQL Server, SQL Server AlwaysOn, networks, Active Directory, server clustering, scripting tools, Microsoft Azure and VMware
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages (French would be a definite asset)
