Description:
Role and Responsibilities:
Provide foreign military sales (FMS) integrated logistics support (ILS)
and technical expert and overseer of logistics and engineering functions in support of the Japan Aegis FMS
program.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 7 - 9 years of Logistics experience or an equivalent combination of
training and professional work experience that provides the required knowledge and skills.
Coordinate, and/or evaluate product support and engineering actions required to support a
specified mission, weapons system, or other designated programs related to the overall aegis combat
system.
Able to work independently, perform and complete tasks with little to no guidance.
Able to communicate expectations and follow-up to make sure deadlines are met.
Coordinates international initiatives for the development and sustainment of the online database
project to align with established FMS processes and requirements.
Responsible for the information management and associated database systems for Japan.
Able to interface with Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians, and
Logisticians.
Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
Have a valid driver's license with own transportation.
Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.
Able to follow company policies and procedures.
Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of identifying and tracking new construction, major ILS program milestones, and
supporting country-specific logistics demands.
Knowledge of maintaining ship configuration data, technical documentation, material staging, and
material packaging handling storage, and transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to travel if/when required.
