Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary: $132,000 - $195,700

Reports to: CFO

KULR Technology Location: Webster, TX

Travel: Occasional travel required.

Position Overview:

The Senior Supply Chain Manager leads the strategy and execution for logistics, manufacturing, and distribution, purchasing and procurement for the company as well as inventory management of the supply chain. This role builds the necessary business infrastructures to ensure supply chain operations run smoothly and on schedule, advances production goals, communicates with vendors and distributors to ensure that the company can receive and ship products. This position builds forward-thinking relationships with suppliers to cut costs on incoming products and shipping, forecasting future demand and mitigating any complications that could arise.

Functions:
  • Directs overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods.
  • Develops and implements a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.
  • Negotiates with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricing.
  • Utilizes data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends and forecast inventory and distribution requirements.
  • Interact with all vendors and work to maintain good relationships, trust, establish quality expectations and requirements, and communicate deadlines.
  • Analyzes and reports key performance indicators and relays conclusions and improvement activities to management.
  • Ensures compliance with company's disbursement policies including credit card use, expense reimbursements and invoicing, making necessary improvements to policies alongside Finance team.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:This position will supervise multiple staff.

Supervisor duties to include:
  • Screens applications, interviews candidates, and recommends individuals for hiring.
  • Trains and assigns work to new and continuing employees.
  • Delegates tasks and provides effective direction to team members to produce substantial business results.
  • Independently conducts frequent performance feedback weekly, quarterly and annually, to include annual performance evaluations.
  • Makes recommendations for salary increases, merit increases and reclassifications.
  • In conjunction with HR, determines corrective action as needed for direct reports.

  • REQUIREMENTS

    Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in related field, required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
    • Science, technology or math background preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
    • Highly skilled in forecasting and inventory management with knowledge of lean inventory management practices.
    • Highly skilled in and knowledgeable of best practices in Supply Chain Management, Planning, Cost Reduction and Optimization.
    • Highly skilled in and knowledgeable of best practices in Vendor Management including Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Negotiations.
    • Highly skilled in determining appropriate Performance Metrics and reporting on team KPIs.
    • Highly skilled in Strategic Planning and communication across departments.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage distribution and logistics and direct logistics personnel.
    • Knowledge and experience shipping hazardous materials and dangerous goods.
    • Knowledge and experience with international shipments and related regulatory requirements.
    • Demonstrates strong business, accounting and financial acumen, driving change and improvements at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong understanding of business operations and processes.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence others, build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to accomplish business objectives.
