Product Engineer
This position offers a great opportunity to work on industry leading semiconductor devices, targeted for broad applications in Automotive and Industrial markets. In this role, you will be a member of AMG PE team, tasked in supporting the product lines and business from new product development, reliability qualification, ramp, sustaining up to product end of life.
You will be involved in various PE projects such as, but not limited to, fail root cause investigations, lot dispositions, generating product reports, process improvements, manufacturing quality excursions, customer return support, and driving cost reductions to benchmark entitlement goals.
Familiarity with data analysis tools, ATE platforms, manufacturing quality metrics, with ability in developing PE tools using C / C++ / VB / Python / SQL, to simplify repetitive tasks are necessary. Candidate should be highly proficient in building comprehensive reports and presentations for cross-functional teams and management views to drive critical decisions to support the product lines and business P&Ls.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities will include:
Own product engineering engagements for NPD, product qual, ramp, sustaining and quality support across multiple businesses and product lines. Own entitlement goals for product execution, overall product cost (yields, test-times, multi-sites), and product quality. Extract product data and generate performance reports & statistical analysis. Provide technical recommendations to fix excursions and customer issues affecting product quality. Generate fast & effective analysis summaries to present in product data reviews with cross-function team and management reporting. Collaborate with NPD, COGS & Site PEs to identify improvement opportunities, streamline & processes for product engineering work (e.g., characterizations, Gage RR, correlations, reliability qualifications, etc.) Ensure accuracy and integrity of product data reports by conducting regular audits and validations. Own standard & ad hoc product reports and dashboards (i.e., COGS, NPD, quality, Rel, FA, EFARs, others). Own documentation of procedures, guidelines, product analysis steps supporting standardization and automations. Work with automation personnel to develop automated solutions for product reports & performance dashboards & indices. Promote a culture continuous improvement within the organization by the adoption of best practices and improved processes.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- BSEE with minimum 5+ yrs of experience working product/test in analog, digital, mixed signal space.
- A good understanding of IC manufacturing process is required. Experience working with ATE platforms is a plus.
- Must be proficient in data analysis tools Exensio/Spotfire, JMP/Minitab, and other stdf analysis software.
- Familiarity with product and manufacturing quality systems and metrics.
- Advanced knowledge in Excel, Office 365 apps. Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI, Jira, Confluence is a plus.
- Familiarity in software coding languages C/C++, VB, Python, SQL.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, working with cross-functional teams across multiple different internal development and factory sites.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - energetic, motivated, and self-driven.
- Demonstrate ability to work well within a global team environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills; demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks; ability to work under pressure.
