Job Description
Primary responsibilities will include teaching didactic and small group learning exercises primarily in the disciplines of microbiology, virology and cell biology. Teaching experience in, or willingness to expand into, the discipline of biochemistry is required. Students are first- and second-year dental, medical and graduate students, at UTHSC. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree with a background in microbiology, virology or cell biology and be eligible for a faculty appointment at the level of an Assistant, Associate or full Professor.
Departmental Preferences:
Teaching experience in healthcare professional and graduate level courses is preferred but not required. The candidate should be an enthusiastic educator with demonstrated ability to work productively, collegially, and effectively within a faculty-team environment. This position includes opportunities to conduct scholarly activities related to educational programs.
