Position Summary
The Cards Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the credit union's card services department. This role ensures efficient and effective delivery of card services for debit and maintaining high standards of member satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Position Summary
The Cards Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the credit union's card services department. This role ensures efficient and effective delivery of card services for debit and maintaining high standards of member satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the card services department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of card transactions.
- Process disputes in a timely manner in accordance with Regulation E requirements.
- Ensure all card services operations comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Continuously monitor dispute processes to ensure efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with card service vendors to ensure optimal service delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
- Prepare and present regular reports on card services performance, including transaction volumes, fraud incidents, and member feedback.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of card services operations.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the card services department budget.
- Oversee the management of the credit union's fleet of ATMs, ensuring they are operational and well-maintained.
- Coordinate and manage required software updates for ATMs and card services systems to ensure they are up-to-date and secure.
- Manage and mentor a team of card services representatives, providing training and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Address and resolve member inquiries and issues related to card services, ensuring a high level of member satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications
- Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
- A Bachelor's degree is required. A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of card services operations and regulations.
- Proficiency in using card management systems and related software.
- Experience with ATM management and software updates is a plus.
- Understanding of card issuance and activation processes.
- Knowledge of card transaction processing and settlement.
- Experience with card network rules and regulations.
