Supporting the first line of defenseatDealer Services, the Compliance Practice Leader will ensure integrated and continuous risk management, using structured and consistent processestoidentify, assess, manage, and control risks and their impact on activities and results. This role will evaluate the sectors risk profile and confirm adherence torequiredrisk appetite and tolerance. This role willreporttothe Senior Director, Risk Management and Compliance of IADS-IAAF.

What Would I be Doing:

  • Develop and implement the regulatory risks framework and strategy in alignment with the organization's objectives and risk management policies.
  • Support the Business Compliance Officer in mentoring and coaching a team of compliance advisors providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success in identifying, assessing, and managing risks.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organizationtoidentify and assess regulatory and legal risks, implementing effective control measures and mitigation strategies.
  • Establish solid working relationship with the second line of defense;
  • Oversee the implementation and monitoring of risk management processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements andinternalpolicies.
  • Analyze andreportonkey regulatory risks metrics and trends, providing recommendations for improvement and proactive risk management.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop risk profiles for key business activities, processes, and functions, identifying areas for improvement and enhancement.
  • Act as a subject matter expertonregulatory risks, providing guidance and support to other teams and departmentsonrisk-related matters.
  • Act as Deputy Business Compliance Officer when the incumbent is unavailable orrequiredelsewhere.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes related to regulatory risks, integrating relevant insights into the organization's risk management

What Do I needtosucceed in this role:

  • Bachelor'sdegreein Business,, Law, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Master'sdegreeor professional certification (e.g., CPA, CRM, FRM, etc.) ispreferredor member of the Bar;
  • Advancedlevel of knowledge of the English and French language both written and verbal since the person will berequiredtolead meetings, conduct coaching with team members, and collaborate with team members and Dealer Services Leadership on a daily basis.
  • Minimumof 10yearsin the industry and or 7yearsspecifically in regulatory risks management or relevant field, with a proven track record of leadership.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory risks, including risk assessment methodologies, control frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the abilitytointerpret and communicate complex risk-related informationtodiverse audiences.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the abilitytobuild relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven abilitytolead and motivate a team, driving performance and fostering a positive and inclusiveworkculture.

Compensation

Thetypical hiring range for this position is from $95,000 and $140,000 annually; the basepayoffered isbasedonlocationand may vary dependingonskills, job-related knowledge, experience, andinternalequity. All permanentemployeesof iA are also entitledtoan annual bonus.
