Director, Strategic Growth - Quebec and Atlantic
Working with the Regional Vice-President, you will identify, attract, select, recruit, and onboard productive Advisors with growth potential, primarily in the broad market. You will manage and develop referral sources andrecruitmentrelationships within their community of Advisors, both in-person and through social media, and leverage regional sales team leads. You will actively manage the end-to-endrecruitingprocess and oversee theAdvisoronboarding experience for your assigned region. You will introduce potential recruits/AdvisorstoPPIsinternalteams, tools and resources that will help attract them to PPI.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent PPIatvarious industry events, increasing PPIs visibilityatthese events through sponsorship, booths, presentations/speaking engagements
- Build a strong social media presence for the purpose of attracting potential Advisors
- Present PPIs complete offeringtopotential Advisors
- Recruitmentof quality Advisors who meet or exceed PPI standards
- Assist in coordinating the onboarding of newly recruited Advisors, ensuring they are connectedtothe proper teams and individuals for contracting and training
- Lead and engage the office andemployeesin actions that encourage, reflect and align with PPIs ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitmentstoourAdvisors, their clients andouremployees
Education, Experience and Skills
- Minimum8yearsof experience in wholesale marketing and the sale of life insurance, living benefits and segregated funds
- Undergraduatedegreein a business-relatedprogram
- Industry designations (CFP, CLU, CHS, etc.) are considered an asset
- Strong knowledge ofAdvisornetwork in local market
- Previous experience inAdvisorrecruitment
- Knowledge and understanding of PPIs complete offering and value propositiontoAdvisors including: services, lines of business, products, Stratosphere tools, sales and marketing tools, education, Advisor Agreement and incentives such as Advantage and AdvantagePlus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate level of Englishrequiredas incumbent will be leading the prospecting,recruiting, training, networking and relationship building withinternalEnglish-speaking colleagues, carriers and prospective advisorsona weekly basisatminimum
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and networking/relationship building skills
- Persistent, accountable, and approachable
