JOB PURPOSE:
Reportingtothe Head of Structured Products, the Director of Structured Products/ Business Development is primarily responsible for business development, generating sales, and structuring products by pooling assets together that can be sold to investorsbasedontheir risk appetite. The candidate will also be responsible for developing new products and/or solutions and ensuring the competitiveness of existing products. The candidate strengthens the sales efforts by working with Sales and Marketingtodefine competitive market requirements and identifying opportunities.
As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunityto:
- Partner with RVPs, Product Managers, and Sales leaders internally and externally, in helpingtogenerate sales and develop new business.
- Partner with product supplierstostructure products for distribution internally.
- Lead by actively prospecting for new sales, as well as establishinglonglasting relationships and supporting existing clients.
- Use your in-depth knowledge of our products and the investment industry in general, along with your interpersonal skillstoincrease sales and retain assets.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively deepen existing relationships and develop new business relationships with advisors within the different distribution channels.
- Develop relationships with the product suppliers increase sales of existing products andtostructure products forinternaldistribution.
- Workclosely with the head of fixed income solutionstocollect clients needs and structure protected products.
- Use daily video and phonecontactwith clientstobegin or expandonexisting relationshipstounderstand their business andclientneedstoprovide appropriate solutions.
- Support the Head of Structured Products, in developing a strategic marketing plan customized forclientsegments and promptly following uponmeetings, road shows, events and webcasts.
- Keep an archive of all the relevant information pertainingtothe products, policies, procedurestosupport clients.
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Create broadcast emails with pertinent marketing and product informationtoadvisors and share with the sales department.
- Participate in national, regional, departmental, andprojectgroup meetings, sharing feedback and information.
- Assist the Head of Structured Products, in the segmentation of theclientbasetodefine the service levels andtoensure the sales from various distribution channels and firms.
- Assist the Head of Structured Products, in developing a strategic business plan for theyearand review it quarterly with the teamtoincrease sales from advisors in the territory.
- AdheretoiAC Sales practice guidelines and the iA Code of Conduct.
- Be involved in special projects asrequired, will include but not limitedtoevening and weekend events.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education &Qualifications:
- Bachelorsdegreein a field such as Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics (required).
- CSC, CFA .
Experience:
- Havingatleast 8yearsof experience with cross asset structured note products, sales and structuring
- Flexibilitytoworklonger hours (Territory events, etc.).
- Opentotraveltoattend territory events and meet clients.
