02/10/2025The Huntingdon Area School District is accepting applications for the Director of Student Services that has the ability to spearhead and lead the district student service needs including special education, gifted education, English language services, homelessness needs, and other student placement needs. Knowledge of and understanding a Multi-Tiered System of Support preferred. The qualified person must be able to work as an integral part of the team with district principals and teaching staff and will be a member of the district cabinet team. The Director will also supervise and work closely with two district school psychologists and the secretary of student services. The candidate must display evidence of excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. The position requires the ability to be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task many responsibilities across K-12 student needs. Applicants should have a certification in Supervisor of Special Education or Supervisor of Students Services (preferred) as well as K-12 Principal with Special Education experience and knowledge. Since this is a central office role, experience as an administrator is a must and at least 2 year of experience in administration is preferred. Salary range of $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 based on experience and qualifications.
