About the job:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Technical Development Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional support, fostering innovation, and driving business growth.

In your future role as a Technical Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Providing technical support to customers in the crosslinking and thermoset segments, ensuring optimal solutions for their needs.
• Protecting and growing contribution margins (CM) through strategic business development activities and market insights.
• Utilizing CRM tools to manage opportunities and campaigns effectively.
• Delivering training and technical support to the sales force and customers to enhance product understanding and application.
• Assisting in the introduction and promotion of new and existing products while supporting product portfolio management.
• Scouting for and identifying market opportunities, translating them into new product development initiatives.
• Initiating and guiding the creation of new technical concepts and products in response to market demands.
• Acting as the primary interface between customers and PRSA, ensuring alignment of technical and commercial objectives.
• Leading R&D field and customer service activities, driving innovation and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Providing support in handling customer complaints and resolving cases effectively.
• Collaborating with production plants to address technical challenges and enhance manufacturing processes.
• Producing and maintaining technical literature, internal and external product specifications, and relevant materials.
• Representing the company by presenting at international congresses and trade shows.
• Managing technical collaborations with key customers, licensors, construction companies, and engineering firms.
• Operating with a high level of autonomy within the defined strategy, consulting commercial stakeholders on customer-related decisions.

We believe you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a technical or chemical environment.
• Background in composites or elastomers is highly desirable.

• Proven ability to develop business opportunities and provide technical service in the rubber crosslinking and composite markets.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and act on market opportunities.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills to engage effectively with customers, stakeholders, and teams.

Good to know:

• This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager XTP.

• This position requires about 50% travel.
