ECS is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst, providing support to our national laboratory customer in Albuquerque, NM.

This position will be supporting an IT services department that is trusted and dedicated to being a true IT partner to all of their customers by providing tailored, innovative technology solutions, and unparalleled customer service. Looking for a candidate that will strive to understand the unique needs of the National Laboratory mission organizations and work collaboratively to design and deliver specialized information systems solutions that drive their success.

Work will be performed both onsite and offsite so some telecommuting is allowable, but candidate must reside in the Albuquerque area.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Provide expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts and in translating business process needs into technical requirements. Will manage a variety of IT related projects
Responsible for developing and managing customer relationships
Manage the internal discovery process to include customer interaction, technical evaluation, and recommendations for the customer's environment
Evaluate and implement process changes to improve IT services for our customers
Create, monitor and execute customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in IT related field and 7 years of experience managing IT projects in a large environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearance.
  • IT Business Analyst and Project Manager experience with a BS/BA and 7 experience managing IT Projects in a large environment
    Candidate MUST have previous hands on experience supporting desktop, server, networking, OT, or integrating technology solutions to meet customer requirements.
    Successfully managed large IT Projects from creation through implementation
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Must have experience managing customer relationships
    Must have experience managing the day to day operations of IT support team
    Experience evaluating and making recommendations to improve a departments IT Technologies and then execute the implementation of the recommendations
    Experience supporting a large IT organization
    Candidate can start uncleared, but must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance
