Location: Remote/Hybrid
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Builds and deploys systems in AWS and Azure environments using modern tools including Terraform and Ansible
- Manages platform configuration, particularly including Office 365, using devops tools and principles.
- Uses microservice containers or serverless functions in conjunction with Kinesis streams to create integrations in an event-oriented architecture
- Creates and consumes REST APIs or data streams for integration-oriented projects
- Design and operate security configuration, integration, and instrumentation within a cloud native environment using zero trust principals
- Helps to deliver endpoint configuration and monitoring
- Works with internal customers to share knowledge and validate results
- Works directly with cyber security vendor regarding security features.
- Works directly with Loan Operating System Team to build and develop new processes and applications
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency with AWS, containers, CI/CD, terraform, and powershell
- Demonstrated proficiency with a set of programming languages such as python, java, go, or server side javascript
- Demonstrated understanding of consuming REST APIs
- Demonstrated proficiency of sysops fundamentals, including networking, OS installation, and service troubleshooting
- Demonstrated understanding of user management in cloud environments, including SSO and role-based access control
- Proficiency with github for version control and github actions for continuous integration
- Experience with software development in python or javascript is preferred
- Experience with Mortgage Industry preferred
- Experience with Encompass DevOps preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of consuming REST APIs is preferred
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or related field preferred
