Description:
IntePros is hiring a Senior Inter-Plan Business Systems Analystto join the Shared Services BlueCard and Operations Support Team, responsible for supporting the Inter-Plan BlueCard business across multiple platforms and acting as a subject matter expert for all product lines. Candidates must be within a commutable distance to Philadelphia, PA; Salt Lake City, UT; Houston, TX; or Columbus, OH.

- Collaborate with business partners to define business systems requirements and develop effective business solutions, working closely with internal and external vendors.
- Serve as the senior-level business contact for system requirements in areas of expertise.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams, Inter-Plan partners, outsourced IT solution providers, and management.
- Develop systems criteria and project scope for new initiatives and enhancements.
- Identify potential issues, perform business analysis, and assist in defining system enhancements, modifications, and upgrades in alignment with BCBSA mandates and internal processing improvements.
- Work with internal testing teams and vendors to create thorough Test Plans and Test Case Scenarios for defect fixes and project support, providing business validation of testing results.
- Coordinate with Inter-Plan partners on Global Certification/Partner Plan testing, reporting status to project managers and/or BCBSA as needed.
- Support production checkout processes and assist in post-implementation defect tracking.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency.
- Represent the organization in BCBSA workgroups as required.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge and experience with BCBSA BlueCard processing and Inter-Plan Program policies.
- Strong understanding of business processes, system design, and multiple business platforms.
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and technical skills with the ability to present findings to management effectively.
- Proven communication skills to convey complex concepts to various audiences, including users, business analysts, and management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and knowledge of project management tools.
- Effective facilitation and presentation skills for business systems training.
- Ability to define and document desk-level procedures as needed.
- Knowledge of the health insurance/managed care environment is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or 4+ years of work experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a business unit or equivalent external experience.
- Strong project management skills are essential.
