East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is a career technical school that provides high school and adult students with advanced skills and training needed to thrive in today's competitive job market. EVIT offers 50 career technical education programs, as well as Associate degrees in Nursing and Surgical Technology. EVIT prepares students for state and national licensing, industry certifications, internships, and the opportunity to earn college credit. EVIT programs are tuition-free for high school students who live within the following school districts: Apache Junction, Cave Creek, Chandler, Fountain Hills, Gilbert, Higley, J.O. Combs, Mesa, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, and Tempe. EVIT offers adult programs that allow adults to improve their current skills or learn new skills. Applications are being accepted for the position of Director of Registered Nursing Program for our 1601 W. Main Street, Mesa AZ 85201 campus location.
The salary range is $95,248 to $122,869; however, placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, job related experience, and industry related certification.
Position Summary
Under general supervision the Director of Registered Nursing will perform a variety of routine duties, as needed, to assist instructors in educating students from different backgrounds, ethnicity, nationalities, genders, ages, religions, or disabilities in the classroom and in the lab, using a variety of teaching methods. Ensures nursing and related health programs meet or exceeds certification requirement set forth by the applicable Arizona State Boards. Responsible for program reporting, securing qualified full-time and part-time instructors to meet program needs, scheduling clinical sites, evaluating program needs, and administering students, faculty, and clinical site evaluations. Works within approved budgets. Supervision may include student workers and lab assistants. Other duties as assigned. Please review the attached job description.
