Description:
With minimal guidance, collaborates with the Securities Finance Trading desk for an assigned region. Contributes to research analyses and studies on fixed-income sectors and individual securities for a region. Interfaces with internal sales and trading personnel. Is continuing to gain experience with Private-Label MBS markets and other securitized products. With minimal guidance, contributes to research, analyzes and prices a moderate quantity of standard Private-Label Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS). Contributes to the evaluation of securities' liquidity risk, cash flows and projected future performance using Intex, Bloomberg and other modeling tools. Contributes to the implementation of solutions for addressing risks, as directed. As directed, implements testing structures and cash flow performance measures. Contributes to reports that provide clear and accurate analyses and that identify and track risks, including credit risk, interest rate risk and market risk, among others. Reviews work with more senior professionals to improve own work. May interact with traders, strategists at broker-dealers, portfolio managers at hedge funds, REITS and money managers, as needed. No direct reports.Contributes to the achievement of regional objectives. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements.Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $93,000 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
