Position Available: Laboratory Manager/Senior Clinical Embryologist
Reproductive Medicine Associates of Florida; Orlando
Starting date: Immediate
Full or part time: Full Time
Possible weekends/holidays (yes or no): Yes, on rotation
Minimum Educational requirements: MS, BS in biology, laboratory science or related field
Certification requirements: TS certification
Citizenship: US citizen or permanent resident
Years of experience: >3 years

RMA is seeking a full-time Manager/Senior Embryologist to join our growing team in Orlando.
Responsibilities:
Study and review laboratory operating manual and become familiar with quality assurance, quality control, safety procedures and operating guidelines for performing laboratory services.
Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies and document all quality control activities.
Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, reporting and maintaining records of patient results.
Initially, perform laboratory services under supervision to gain proficiency. Subsequently perform laboratory procedures independently in an efficient and reliable manner.
Identify problems that may adversely affect procedure performance or reporting of test results and either correct the problems or immediately notify a laboratory supervisor or laboratory director.
Monitor and participate in laboratory proficiency testing programs.
Conduct CAP and CLIA inspections.
Attend laboratory meetings as requested.
Attend continuing education programs as required for certification or requested by directors.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological science or medical laboratory technology.
Advanced Embryology experience
3+ years experience
Must be able to do all aspects of the lab (VOR, Fert Check, Grading, ICSI, BX, Tube loading, Transfers, Warming/Vitrification)
Must have the aptitude to learn to make appropriate judgments about the clinical significance of laboratory data
