Overview
To develop and maintain customer and partner relationships through key account management.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors in marketing, business administration, science, or related field with 3+ years of sales and/or marketing experience preferably in a biotechnology, particularly cell biology related field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be detailed oriented and analytical
Ability to work independently with little to no direction
Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and adapt to changing priorities
Demonstrates professional flexibility and demeanor with changing priorities while exhibiting a sense of urgency to achieve deadlines
Ability to create a conductive environment and execute process to achieve adequate approval of compressed scopes and schedules with multi-functional groups
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work with diverse international business network
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Typical office environment. This position requires traveling (US. Canada, Japan, Europe, and other countries) to increase and build relationship with customers or affiliates.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires the ability to sit for 3-6 hours per day; stand, walk, bend over, and reach above head less than an hour a day; lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally, eye/hand coordination and repetitive use of hands/arms for writing and computer work.
Frequent interaction and communication with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain communication channels key accounts and potential customers or partners (direct access to right person)
Continually visit and have in-person meeting with the above accounts to find out their real issues/concerns
Support promotional activities at conference, exhibition, or seminars to clearly communicate company values
Update clients on any new products, programs, or marketing initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver sales
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecast for assigned customers to contribute to internal planning
Monitor changing market situation and supply implications
Support the coordination and planning for marketing of the ancillary materials, such as cell culture media and growth factors for cell and gene therapy
Lead collaboration works with a bioreactor manufacturer
