Description
The Modules Operations Program Manager (Modules NPO) ensures that critical components driving new features in our products ramp on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability. Following each new product release, the Modules NPO leads the post-ramp qualification (PRQ) process for new component or design changes that help to improve field performance, increase supply, and reduce cost.
Modules NPO's are pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple's products, as well as the ongoing health of our sustaining business. A successful Modules NPO is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program / project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts.
We lead within worldwide Operations and collaborate with the core product development team and other functional organizations within Apple.
Establishes strong network with Engineering and Operations teams; leverages network to drive convergence between development schedule, module ramp requirements, and new product launch
Drives PRQ readiness with Engineering, Operations and OEM teams, planning build requirements, tracking material availability, and overseeing build execution
Influences product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality
Manages communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams
