QA Engineer Automated 3

ASSYST is seeking a QA Engineer Automated 3 to support our client in Texas . It is a 100% Remote position.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts for application workflow processes.
• Create detailed test cases and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage for various system workflows and functionalities.
• Maintain and update the Unified Functional Testing (UFT) Test Suites for regular regression testing of the system.
• Execute automated regression test scripts and log results.
• Prepare necessary test data to be loaded into the system's database, ensuring compatibility with test cases.
• Execute automated and manual test scripts, log results, and provide clear reports on test execution outcomes.
• Document and track defects identified during testing, including detailed steps for defect reproduction.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects and retest as necessary.
• Utilize analysis and diagramming tools to represent and communicate business processes.
• Apply historical and proven knowledge of testing best practices to ensure test coverage, quality, and consistency.

Required Skills: 8+yrs experience

• Proficiency in database query languages (SQL, PL/SQL).
• Strong background in developing test suites using UFT or similar testing tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with peers and users at all levels.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in developing Requirements Traceability Matrices - 6+ years of experience.
• Skilled in developing and executing test scripts - 6+ years of experience.
• Experience in developing Test Plans and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - 6+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with general IT SDLC processes - 6+ years of experience.
• Experience using JIRA for managing project/sprint tasks - 4+ years of experience.
• Experience working in an Agile SDLC environment - 4+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in using JIRA to track work assignments - 4+ years of experience.
• Experience working on projects utilizing Agile project management methodologies - 1+ year of experience.
