About the Information Systems Group
We are looking for a Senior Systems Support to join our Vancouver-based Information Systems team.
As a passionate team of IT professionals, we are faced with complex problems that are ideally solved with technology. Applying technology to support and manage a variety of business application systems as well as systems hardware infrastructure is critical to our firm's continued success. You'll be joining a friendly, collaborative, tight knit group that works together to effectively apply technology to investment problems. In addition to providing a very high level of customer service, you will develop strong relationships with internal customers and IT technical staff. You will provide support to both local and remote users, maintain system documentation, and contribute to IT projects as required.

The base salary range is $110,000-120,000 annually plus a competitive performance bonus. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
- Support the infrastructure, applications, database, networks, functionality and service delivery for mission-critical financial systems.
- Demonstrate a high level of critical thinking and creative solutioning for business problems by developing process and system improvements.
- Manage overall infrastructure by addressing alerts, apply updates, and ensure resources meet current and future needs.
- Work with other IT and internal stakeholder groups to resolve urgent issues and implement long-term solution.
- Triage, monitor, investigate, resolve, and respond to incident tickets in a timely manner.
- Providing support to business units, including ongoing cloud and modernization transformation initiatives
- Actively participate in continuous quality and process improvement activities.
You are someone with:
- At least five years' recent, related experience working with, supporting and delivering IT systems in Microsoft environment, supported by a degree in Computer Information's Systems or similar.
- Experience with virtual server platforms, storage devices, and computer network resources.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical issues, providing accurate analysis and suggesting appropriate solutions.
- Familiar with cloud computing and platforms like Azure.
- Experience with handling support and maintenance of services hosted on the cloud and on-premises environment.
- Strong, effective, and clear communication skills, with an ability to adjust messaging appropriate to the audience.
- Experience with development with scripting tools (SQL-Server, VBScript, PowerShell, Power Automate, etc.) is an advantage
- Ability to provide on call support and weekend work
