Construction/Mechanical Project Manager - 100% Travel

Job Summary: IA Mechanical is currently seeking an experienced senior Construction/Mechanical Project Manager with extensive experience working in Industrial Construction (Power Plants (maintenance, FGD, Material Handling), Paper Mills (maintenance), Mining (maintenance, material handling), Cement). This role requires 100% travel. Crews are typically mobilized for 3-6 weeks at a time and average 60-84 hours/week during deployments at client sites nationwide.

Responsibilities:

As a Construction Project Manager for IA Mechanical, you will:

• Develop Estimates and Proposals
• Participate in Sales activities
• Manage a crew
• Supervise and enforce company and project Safety standards
• Project Scheduling and Planning
• Maintain budgets to meet company and role requirements
• Facilitate multiple projects from start to finish
• Perform administrative duties including reports, expenses

Ideal candidates will have significant experience with one or more of the following:

Inspections and assessments, Welding - Structural, Painting & Coatings, Steel Fabrication, FRP Maintenance, Demolition, Electrical, Concrete, Masonry, NDT - Non-Destructive Testing, Insulation & Lagging, UAV/Drone - FAA Licensed, AWL - Aviation Warning Light Systems, LPS - Lightning Protection Systems, Scaffolding - Fixed & Suspended, Rope Access - SPRAT/IRATA, Millwright, Rigging & Hoisting, Heavy Equipment Operation, Engineering

Requirements

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager
• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Construction
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening
• Must pass Federal background check
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a clean MVR
