We invite Physicians who have completed fellowships in Sports Medicine to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together in our Orthopedic team at Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Monroe, North Carolina.

With two Primary Care Sports Medicine Physicians, five board-certified Orthopedic Surgeons and three Advance Care Practitioners, Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Union has provided quality orthopedic care to the communities of Indian Trail, Waverly, Waxhaw, Union County and Mecklenburg counties for more than 30 years. Be a part of a prominent, comprehensive musculoskeletal practice with opportunities to partner with a network of high school and collegiate athletes. Atrium employs 100+ athletic trainers across the region to support the MSKI mission.

Details about the candidate:
  • BC/BE Primary Care, PM&R, Family Medicine, Peds, EM or Internal Medicine Physicians
  • Completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship
  • Candidates should have their CAQ in Sports Medicine
  • NON-Surgeon position

Details about the opportunity:
  • Clinic Monday - Friday 8-5pm; Sideline coverage and clinic call coverage.
  • Focus on sprains, strains, fracture care, concussions, arthritis, etc.
  • Outreach opportunities as the Team Physician for 1-2 local high schools and collegiate athletics.
  • Call 1:16 ONLY answer calls after hours (shared with all primary care sports medicine physicians across the region.)
  • Perform Ultrasound guided injections including with orthobiologics
