Description:
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-15 years of experience in designing, optimizing, and managing process systems, with a preference for experience in utility systems such as cooling water, air, and boilers. Knowledge of slurry processes is a bonus, adding value to this role in specialized applications.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize utility systems, including cooling water, compressed air, and boiler systems
- Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and system layouts
- Conduct process evaluations to improve system efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate utility systems into broader project designs
- Specify and procure process equipment, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to utility systems and other processes
- Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up of process systems
- Perform system audits and propose upgrades or modifications to improve performance
- Maintain detailed documentation, including design calculations, technical reports, and compliance records
- If applicable, design and manage processes involving slurries, optimizing flow, mixing, and handling solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 7-15 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on utility systems
- Strong understanding of utility systems such as cooling water, compressed air, and boilers
- Proficiency in process design tools and software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with slurries, including handling, flow, and mixing processes
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to utility systems and process engineering
- Hands-on experience in commissioning and troubleshooting utility or slurry systems
