Collision Estimating Specialist

The Tesla Collision Team is seeking a Collision Estimating Specialist to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position will involve supporting the Tesla Approved Collision Center (TACC) Network, Service, Manufacturing, Collision, and Logistics. You will be responsible for managing severity across the North American TACC Network focusing on accurate estimate writing, market labor rate setting, and adherence to repair guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reducing collision severity costs for Tesla and assist in educating on estimating best practices
• Create repair estimates for Collision Damaged Tesla vehicles and use Tesla specific repair procedures to write accurate estimates
• Review and audit collision repair estimates
• Create weekly - monthly reports and present to management
• Analyze damage from photos and asses appropriate repair vs replace situations
• Support technical operations of body repair with analysis and estimating
• Maintain accurate reporting and Analyze data to reduce spend across multiple sectors of business

Requirements

• 5+ years of automotive collision damage estimating experience
• Knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• I-CAR certification, preferred
• Proficient with Computers, as well as CCC, Audatex, or Mitchell Estimating Software
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Insurance experience in claims management a plus

Expected Compensation$28.75 - $54.44/hour + cash and stock awards + benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
