You will be the Facilities Operations Associate Manager for the High Performance Computing Center (HPCC) team. Our team is responsible for providing top-notch Facilities Operations & Maintenance services, ensuring optimal equipment and systems performance, and maintaining a positive employee experience.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Facilities Operations Associate Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing efforts for all Facilities Operation functions, including maintenance, repairs, and employee support. You will ensure seamless operations, troubleshoot facility issues, and direct responses, all while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and directing Facilities Operation functions, including maintenance and repairs
Ensuring optimal equipment and systems performance, and maintaining a positive employee experience
Managing and supervising a team of facilities operations staff, including union hourly trades people
Implementing contracts, preventive maintenance scheduling, and spare part inventory management
Providing support, manpower, and Facilities Condition Assessments to accomplish goals and meet budgets
Troubleshooting and responding to facility issues, and directing emergency responses

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent work experience/combined education. Demonstrated Team Leadership in a complex facilities environment, budgeting, and manpower planning.
Must be able to manage multiple personnel, facilities departments and issues simultaneously
with strong leadership and decision-making skills to achieve positive results.
Experience applying lean principles with the ability to deliver on business objectives in a team focused environment. Proven Customer Service experience and success.
Due to facility access for this role, candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Desired skills
Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and time management skills. Technical experience with building infrastructure for a High Performance Computing Center environment.
Leadership skills to coordinate and horizontally integrate with other functional departments and team members from engineering, strategic planning, contract administration, human resources, quality, materials, programs, and production.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in fast-paced and complex environment. Facilities experience in
defense or government regulated industry.
Superior communication skills to support regular presentations to all levels of employees and
management. Experience managing construction/building projects. Experience managing in a union environment.
Ability to coach and train team members in technical development. Experience managing in a matrix management environment. Experience with life cycle cost analysis. Experience with capital and/or infrastructure planning. Blackbelt and/or Greenbelt certification.
Ability to apply the principles of reliability engineering to achieve optimal asset availability. Identifying appropriate surveillance and maintenance activities (Condition Monitoring) that may employ predictive tools and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) solutions to optimize use of mission critical assets.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $86,700 - $166,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
