Ensign Peak Advisors is an affiliated organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In support of the Church's global mission, Ensign Peak Advisors manages the financial reserves of the Church and provides cash management services to fund Church operations.

The High Yield Credit Analyst will support the high yield fixed income portfolios and will focus on credit analysis with the opportunity to invest across the sub-investment grade credit spectrum.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fundamental high yield research on corporate bond issuers and make timely investment recommendations.
  • Assist in managing and monitoring portfolio positions including tracking investment performance and risk exposure.
  • Actively make buy and sell recommendations.
  • Develop relationships with company management teams, sponsors, and sell-side analysts to help analyze industries and companies.


Qualifications

  • 6+ years direct investment experience in the high yield and/or leveraged finance market.
  • Ability to independently identify and develop investment opportunities on a timely basis.
  • Experience building and maintaining financial models to forecast revenue, cashflows, margins, and credit metrics. Analyze potential returns and downside risks.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required. CFA or master's degree are preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
