Job Overview:
We are partnering with a highly reputable healthcare facility in Anchorage, Alaska to find an exceptional Gastroenterologist to join their dynamic team. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced practitioners and recent fellows who are looking to make an immediate impact in patient care while enjoying the benefits of a well-supported environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders, including acid reflux, IBS, Crohn's disease, and liver conditions.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and imaging tests.
- Develop and manage treatment plans, including medications, lifestyle changes, and interventions.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Provide follow-up care and monitor chronic conditions.
- Stay current with medical advancements and contribute to research efforts.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Alaska Medical License
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
